On September 29, HBO will debut a new comedy series entitled Hello Ladies. The leading role will be portrayed by Stephen Merchant, the Emmy Award winning executive producer of the UK version of The Office.
Merchant plays the role of Stuart, an awkward Englishman who comes to Los Angeles in order to find love. His quirks and inability to assimilate to the busy LA nightlife makes him even more desperate as he searches for excitement in the big city.
