Netflix series Voltron: Legendary Defender premiered a new trailer for the upcoming 7th season to fans during the show’s panel, as well as the first episode of said season. Amidst the reveals, executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos revealed that season 8 would premiere before the end of the year, and that it would be the final season.

Fan favorite animated series Young Justice revealed it’s first new footage today. The series, which was cancelled three years ago, will debut its new season on DC Comics’ upcoming streaming site. The footage introduced audiences to new character Geo-Force, as well as revealing that Katana will join the show as well.

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn decided to not follow through on plans he tweeted to come to San Diego Comic-Con for the Sony Pictures panel, where he planned to make a surprise appearance to present on a horror film he produced. This comes after Gunn has been removed as director of the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy: Vol. 3 by Marvel Studios parent company Walt Disney Studios after a slew of old social media posts resurfaced in which Gunn made light of pedophilia and rape.
The world premiere of Hulu’s Castle Rock pilot spooked Ballroom 20 Friday afternoon at Comic Con. Stephen King’s and J.J. Abrams’ ambitious new anthology series features iconic King motifs like Shawshank Prison and a look at what Pennywise looked like before the clown makeup. Castle Rock drops on Hulu on July 25th. The trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass dropped on Friday. The film uniquely spins together Shyamalan’s older work, Unbreakable with Bruce Willis, and 2016’s Split with James McAvoy, focusing on the character of Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson). Sarah Paulsen plays a psychologist trying to understand the mentalities of people who “think they are superheroes.” You can watch the trailer below:
