Taylor Swift, the now billionaire from her profoundly popular “Era’s Tour” may be entering a new “era” by being a part of major moves in the film industry. And it’s for a role that’s been teased for years — The Dazzler.

The Dazzler, whose real name is Alison Blaire, is a fictional superhero in Marvel Comics. She possesses the mutant ability to convert sound vibrations into light and energy. Dazzler first appeared in 1980 and is known for her career as both a mutant superhero and a singer. Her unique powers allow her to create stunning light displays and use sound as a weapon. Dazzler has been a member of various superhero teams in the Marvel Universe, including the X-Men, and she often uses her abilities to combat villains and save the day while pursuing a career in the music industry.

There have been rumors for over a decade of Swift playing as The Dazzler in a Marvel project. Following the announcement of Deadpool 3, Sean Levy (director of Deadpool 3), hinted at Swift possibly taking on this role. In regards to the ideas of Swift joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sean Levy, in an interview with TheWrap in October, stated:

“They sure are loud… No comment. Because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”

After this cryptic comment, fans are raving about the possibility of Swift actually being in the movie. Since Levy did not explicitly deny that Swift is in Deadpool 3, fans are taking this as a yes from the director.

Deadpool 3, set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024, is a long-awaited reunion movie between Deadpool and Wolverine.

After Levy’s comment and the lack of comments from Swift about this matter, the pair were seen in New York City together. Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were also seen with Levy October 26 in New York City. The sightings of these stars just added on to the hype and anticipation of Swift possibly being in Deadpool 3.
