Kanye West may have just wrapped up the stateside leg of his tour, but a feature length film for his Yeezus album will be coming to theaters soon. This will most likely end up being an R-rated concert film, though it is probable that it will feature narrative parts, as well.

Hype Williams, director of a multitude of Kanye West videos, will helm the project. His work on “Diamonds of Sierra Leone” and “Stronger” has brought a lot of acclaim, though he has never taken on a project of this size. Famed American author Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho) also has recently announced that Kanye West approached him to collaborate on a project. Many speculate the expected Yeezus film to be said project.

The quick 30-second trailer for the film features clips of the much-talked-about tour along with shots of horses running through mountains. This will be unlike any concert film before it as the target audience is more adult than that of Justin Bieber, One Direction, or Katy Perry’s previously released films. Kanye West is a widely known musician with many equally hailing him a genius and hating him for his antics. Regardless, he is one of the best musicians working today and has earned his title as a visionary. The film should be looked at with a closer eye than previous entries in the concert film genre.
