I’m pretty sure everyone in Hey Rosetta! knows how to play at least 4 different instruments. The entire performance the group continued to switch between guitars to synths to cello to piano then back to guitars then percussion. It was incredible to see such multifaceted musicians work together to produce such a big yet intricate sound.

The group featured a lot of their new tracks off of their recently released album, Second Sight. I had listened extensively to the new album to prepare for the show and I must say it was amazing to hear how well rehearsed and together Hey Rosetta! is live. Every song was spot on and sang beautifully by lead vocalist, Tim Baker

Touring with the well established indie pop band Stars, Hey Rosetta! has started to pick up major steam in the music scene and is surely gaining much wisdom from their fellow Canadians.

Things got a little dangerous when Stars came onstage. Nobody seemed to like the girl with the hula hoop. The crowd was too dense for someone to be swinging around a giant plastic ring. I exchanged worried glances with the people next to me who had scrunched together to avoid a hoop to the nose.

You can see Hey Rosetta! and Stars next in DC as they continue their tour of the states and Canada.
