'Riverdale' Stars KJ Apa and Camila Mendes Encourage Fans to Check Out Halloween ComicFest

Are you ready for Halloween? Love free comic books? Riverdale stars KJ Apa and Camila Mendes are here to help! On October 29th check out your local comic book shop for FREE comics, including two new Archie comics. This is all part of Halloween ComicFest.
The two Archie comics available are the Afterlife with Archie or the mini-comic, Archie’s Mad House. Both will be featured during the free comic book day this Saturday just before Halloween.
Set to premiere mid-season on The CW, Riverdale is a fresh take on the Archie Comics. The new TV show follows Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead and their friends as they explore the surrealism of small town life – the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade. Riverdale will stand out in a crowd of superhero shows on The CW as it brings a film noir take on the teen drama.
Apa takes on the role of Archie Andrews while Mendes will play one of his love interests Veronica Lodge.
