Oliver Queen has faced off against several great foes, but this might be his biggest battle yet. At The CW Upfronts in NYC, the network released its fall 2017 schedule and it looks like Areow will face off against its worst villain yet: NBC’s This Is Us.
Earlier in the week, NBC announced that This is Us will be moving to Thursdays at 9/8c. A competitive time slot, the breakout hit will be up against Shondaland’s “TGIT” lineup. Now, Arrow is joining the Thursday at 9/8c race and this could be the biggest villain Team Arrow will have to defeat.
With new series like Black Lightning, Dynasty and Valor joining the team, we see several older shows, other than Arrow, on the move.

As predicted, Jane the Virgin will move to a Friday nights following Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Riverdale will take Arrow’s Wednesday at 8/7c time slot as a lead-in for the Dynasty reboot. Supergirl will remain in its Monday timeslot and will be the lead in for the new series, Valor.
Noticably absent from the fall schedule are iZombie, The Originals and The 100. Like this season, those three shows will be held until mid season along with Greg Berlanti’s new DCTV series Black Lightning.
