Duck Dynasty Actors to Publish Three More Books
A division of the book publishing house Simon & Schuster announced today plans to publish three additional books under the Duck Dynasty name. The folks of Duck Dynasty have already written five books since the show was developed in 2012. Duck Dynasty is a reality television program about the story of a family from Louisiana, having since made their fortunes manufacturing products for duck hunters.
Chinese to Loosen Video Game Consoles Ban
After over a decade of banning video game consoles within the country, the Chinese government announced earlier today that they will loosen the ban. Corporations looking to sell across the country will have to set up production and sales operation in the newly established Shanghai Free Trade Zone. No timeline has been set up for when companies could begin rolling out consoles.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 Tops Box Office
Sony Pictures released Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 over the weekend, bringing in $35 million in sales in the United States and Canada. This is the fourth number one box office hit for Sony Pictures this year. The first installment in the series ended global box office sales at a neat $243 million in 2009.
The 20/20 Experience, Part Two, released today
The much anticipated release of the second half of The 20/20 Experience, Justin Timberlake’s first album release in over six years, was released earlier today. The album is Timberlake’s fourth studio release. Timberlake celebrated the release with an hour-long special on the hit morning show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Timberlake has extended his 20/20 Experience world tour to the UK and other European destinations over the weekend, which will kick off in Montreal on Oct. 31, 2013.
