"12 Years A Slave" And "American Hustle" Lead Golden Globes With 7 Nominations Each

Another day, another list of award season nominees. This time, however, the game has changed. While with the Screen Actors Guild Award nominations 12 Years A Slave blew the competition away, now American Hustle snuck up and tied with 12 Years of Slave as both films scored seven Golden Globe nominations each. Film-wise this round of nominations also brought less snubs and surprises, however with television there were a few snubs, Orange is the New Black only got one nomination (what?). However, it was great to see Tatiana Maslany finally get a way overdue nomination for Orphan Black and Hayden Panettiere also get a well deserved nomination for Nashville.
With one more major award show nomination announcement to go, things are getting down to the wire and right now the frontrunners in film are 12 Years A Slave and American Hustle. However, things will become clearer when the actual awards are handed out, so stay tuned this is going to be one heck of an award season.
