Four-piece rock group The Fray has been touring North America since late April, and will be coming close to winding up this leg of the tour. Joe King, Isaac Slade, Dave Welsh and Ben Wysocki have been on tour since the April 30th show in Peoria, Illinois.
The September 11th show in Cincinnati, Ohio marks the last date in the U.S. before The Fray head off to play shows in Europe and South Africa into the autumn. Dates are confirmed in South Africa, the UK, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, with more to be announced in the future.
The Fray has been joined by indie rock band Barcelona and alt-pop duo Oh Honey for many of the North American dates.
The band’s fourth album, Helios, was released in late February of this year and peaked at #10 on the Billboard Top 200 and #2 on Billboard Top Rock Albums. It charted in ten other countries as well, including Canada, Korea, and Germany.
The Fray will be playing in Boston at the Blue Hills Pavilion on July 30.
