English rock band Bear’s Den will be releasing their debut album on October 21st. The album comes on the heels of March’s four-song EP Without/Within, as well as the 2013 EP Agape.
Comprised of Andrew Davies, Joey Haynes, and Kevin Jones, Bear’s Den officially formed in 2012. Initially, the focus was on live performances, first establishing a fan base through touring before heading to the studio to record.
The band recently released the video for “Elysium,” one song from the album, through NPR Music, where it was premiered as a “First Watch.”
Already hailed by magazines and critics such as Rolling Stone, who called Within/Without “heartfelt, shimmering, and adventurous,” Bear’s Den will be on an album preview tour in Europe in the month leading up to the release. They will be joined by Dutch indie musician Christof for three of the five shows. After the album release on the 21st, Bear’s Den will be touring the U.S. and Canada, playing 22 dates.
