Batman: Arkham Knight, originally scheduled for an October 2014 release, was then pushed back to some time in 2015 (early 2015, according to rumors). But now, Arkham fans have to wait a little while longer to take to the streets as the Dark Knight one last time, as it was announced Monday that Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 2nd, 2015, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
While this may come as a disappointment for both diehard Arkham fans and casual gamers alike, the fact that Rocksteady is taking as much time as they can with their final installment of this acclaimed franchise is really more reassuring than disheartening. They’re not pushing another Arkham Origins on us, and they don’t seem to be sacrificing any of the gameplay elements promised early on. When all is said and done, Batman: Arkham Knight is very likely to be the fitting conclusion to the Arkham series that fans of these games deserve (but the one many think they need right now).
Batman: Arkham Knight will be released on June 2nd, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC. There are now two different collector’s editions, the Limited Edition and the Batmobile edition. Prepare to become the Batman, but pace yourself; you’ve got time.
