Prepare the prayer books and the whiskey – the good psychedelic father is returning to Boston. On March 31st, psych-folk artist Father John Misty comes to the Paradise Rock Club.

Father John Misty is the project of folk guru Joshua Tillman, who is well known for his memorable performances. On this tour he will bring along a fully outfitted band, complete with a mini string quartet and plenty of his signature witty banter. From the instrumentation to the antics, seeing Father John Misty live is an experience that his records can’t capture on their own.

Mr. Misty will be riding the waves of his well-received sophomore album I Love You, Honeybear, which was released in February on Sub Pop Records. Audiences are sure to be eagerly anticipating renditions of new singles like “Chateau Lobby #4” and “Bored in the USA.” Boston is just one stop on Father John Misty’s tour, which is set to traverse the country from Minneapolis to California before heading to Europe. The tour is expected to sell out many dates along the way.

Tickets and all tour dates can be found on Father John Misty’s website.
