John Krasinski melted hearts during his time as Jim Halpert on the hit  show The Office, now he’s trying to win over audiences once more, recently selling two new comedies to NBC.
Krasinski sold the two untitled, single-camera comedies to NBC; through his production company Sunday Night, as part of a deal with Universal TV. Krasinski and Allyson Seeger are set to executive produce both shows.
The first series focuses on “a disgraced law student who, out of options, is forced to turn to the exotic and lucrative world of NYC garbage collection,” written by Shawn Wines and co-executive produced with Aaron Kaplan.
The second comedy follows a middle-aged ad executive who brings together a ragtag team to start his own agency after he unexpectedly loses his job. The show is written by former 30 Rock writers and producers Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan.
Krasinski is currently not expected to make an on screen appearance in either show.
